How to Get Started

Here’s how you can start using Magma today:

Step 1: Set Up Your Wallet

• If you don’t have a wallet, create one with MetaMask or Phantom for example

• Follow this setup guide if you need help.

Step 2: Connect to Monad Mainnet

1. Open the Magma portal: https://www.magmastaking.xyz

2. Click “CONNECT WALLET” and select your wallet provider of choice.

3. If prompted with "WRONG NETWORK," select "Switch to Monad Mainnet" in the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Stake Your $MON for $gMON

To stake, first go to the stake dashboard and select the amount of $MON you want to stake. To see how many you have, check your wallet or check the dashboard. It will show you the total amount of $MON currently in your wallet that is available for staking.

After clicking stake, wait until the process wheel stops spinning and you receive a confirmation on your screen informing you that your stake was successful and $gMON was deposited in your wallet. Click “here” to add $gMON to your wallet so it is visible upon opening your wallet right away.
